Bio
A contemporary artist from New Delhi, India, Nakul Sahnan lives and breathes the desire to create while disregarding the idea of a singular medium. A lawyer by education, he knew early on that his calling lay elsewhere and he left the practice of law to pursue a creative career. With the opportunity to master his craft under renowned artist & director, Muzaffar Ali, he found guidance under an artist so multi-faceted that to him, everything is a canvas in need of a discerning eye.
As time went by, given the exposure to a realm of creation & coupled with his own innate curiosity, Sahnan found himself exploring a gambit of styles ranging from surrealism to modern abstraction, as well as different mediums including the written word and films. Today, the artist behind the canvas (or screen) has the distinct ability to add perspective and depth to any piece while experimenting with palettes and emotions so distinct that the only commonality tying them together is their uniqueness.
Each piece of Sahnan’s is an amalgamation of his personal journey through life, meticulously crafted to leave behind a sense of attachment.

It is not that art is confined to any medium. It is that the artist chooses a medium to confine their art to.
